Your privacy
Draft for launch review. Registration remains closed in production until the operator details and policies are approved.
Version 19 September 2026. This notice covers pre-registration for WhisperLouder. It does not yet cover the future members’ app.
Who is responsible
The legal operator must be added before registration opens.
Privacy contact: A monitored privacy address must be added before registration opens.
What we collect
We store the name or nickname, declared age, relationship status, sexuality and city or town you supply; your registration time; a provider-scoped sign-in identifier; an email address where your sign-in provider supplies one; your consent choices; and invitation attribution. You can select “Prefer not to say” for relationship status and sexuality. We do not import your contacts or create a public profile.
Why we use it
We use your account and registration details to reserve and manage your founding place, secure the service and attribute invitations. We use explicit consent for the sensitive relationship and sexuality details you choose to provide. Email marketing is a separate optional choice. The operator must document the applicable lawful basis for each purpose before launch.
Invitations and rewards
Your code records a referral relationship of up to three levels. Referrers see aggregate progress rather than your name, email, sexuality or profile details. You may still be identifiable to someone you invited personally. No commission is generated by a free registration.
Storage and service providers
The launch service is intended to run on DigitalOcean in London with encrypted application fields and access restricted to authorised operators. Sign-in providers process authentication under their own notices. Backup locations, processor contracts and any international transfers must be confirmed before launch.
Your choices and retention
You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of sensitive-data or marketing consent through the privacy contact. After signing in, you can also disable marketing or withdraw your place. Pre-registration data will be reviewed six months after collection if the app has not launched; a documented retention decision is required. Security records and legally required financial records may have separate retention. Backup copies expire on the published backup schedule.
You can raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Registration does not establish your identity, adulthood or trustworthiness; additional checks are required before adult member content becomes accessible.
